Supporting Education and Tourism in Our Community

At El Encuentro Lodge, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community and fostering the next generation of tourism professionals. On November 14th, we had the honor of hosting a group of students from Provincial School No. 98, Los Cipreses, an important rural school in Trevelin.

These high school students, who are specializing in tourism, joined us for an afternoon visit to our lodge. They enjoyed a warm welcome with refreshments, a tour of our main lodge, and an introduction to our destinations and activities. They also had the opportunity to meet our staff and learn firsthand about the services we offer and the incredible experiences we create for our guests from around the world.

It was an inspiring experience for everyone involved, and we hope to welcome these students back in the future. Who knows, some of them may one day join our El Encuentro family, gaining valuable experience in the beautiful world of tourism and helping us share the wonders of southern Patagonia with visitors from across the globe.

Thank you for supporting our journey and for being part of the El Encuentro story. Together, we’re building a brighter future for our community and the tourism industry.

Warm regards,

The El Encuentro Fly Fishing Team
