Marcelo (Marce) was born in Cipolletti, in Rio Negro province. He started fly fishing when he was 12 years old. After finishing secondary school, he moved to Bariloche, where he worked as an Aquaculture Technician. Because of his passion for fly fishing, he became a fishing guide 25 years ago and has been guiding ever since.

Looking for a peaceful place to live and work, Marce and his family moved to Trevelin in 2015. Through common friends, they met the Beales and thus started a very good relationship with El Encuentro. Marce is El Encuentro’s Head Guide, managing schedules and logistics for the extraordinary team of EEFF’s guides as well as scouting new waters and managing owner relationships. Marce guides guests whenever he can. Marce ties his own flies and is a spey casting instructor.
